As you may have noticed I'm not updating the site much these days for lots of reasons but in a nutshell my real life has gotten busier & I've fallen in love (ah!). So I've decided to put the site on a sort of temporary hiatus and maybe come back to it later.

You will still be able to see & read all the stuff that is already on the website, I'm not deleting anything or cancelling any accounts but I just don't have the time to give Dexter Online the attention it deserves at the moment.

If you want to know what Dexter's up to then may I suggest either the Yahoo Group or the Live Journal Community

I don't really want to turn this into an Academy Award acceptance speech, but I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has helped me out and supported the site over the last couple of years and made my little website a pleasure to run :)

There's a great pic of Dexter in Doom here, plus A Bear's Tail is now available on DVD: more info here.

Dexter was scheduled to appear at the premiere of Doom on the 17th of October at Universal Studios (more info here) but I haven't found any pictures of him yet, although it appears just about everybody else connected with the film was there. Jenny has emailed me to point out that there is now an official website for Deadwood, and that all the footage for the film has apparently been lost. You can read more about that story here.

Jenny also suggested that I mention on the film and tv project pages more about the size of Dexter's role, so I've made a start on doing this and I hope others find it useful too!

I've added yet another new TV project for Dexter: Hotel Babylon (thanks to Lisa for the tip off). It seems our man is definitely in demand at the moment!
There's even more Doom info available now after some of the stars were at Comic-Con last weekend. Reports and a link to video footage of the panel are here.
You can now pre-order series 5 of Press Gang, or if you're feeling flush the boxset of all 5 series from Play.com. More info here.
Don't forget to check out the official "Bear's Tail" website, it's been updated since the show started and has lots of stuff to keep you entertained.

A late edition to this month's diary, Channel 4 is finally repeating "The Deal" tonight at 7.10pm. Dexter plays spin doctor Charlie Whelan in Stephen Frear's award winning drama about the complex relationship between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. It's meant to be very good so if, like me, you missed it the first time then here's your chance to see it.
